This summer, Camping Le Vieux Port invites you to discover a unique water park, based on water, sport and nature. Head for the lake of Guiche, in the heart of the Basque Country, to spend a crazy day in a large floating adventure park, between the Landes and the Bearn.

A UNIQUE BASE FOR AQUATIC DELIGHTS IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY!

Located between the Landes and the Basque Country, on the banks of the Adour and Bidouze rivers, the Guiche lake (or Arroques lake) was originally an old quarry, exploited from 1967 by the Ciments de l'Adour company, whose factory was in Boucau. After the activity was abandoned in 1993, the quarry was transformed, thanks to a natural underground spring, into a magnificent stretch of water surrounded by cliffs: the Lac des Arroques.

It is here that the Pop Base was created in 2014, to the delight of adrenaline and water sports enthusiasts! Today, the Accr'Eau Park in Guiche - a leisure partner of the Le Vieux Port campsite - is famous throughout the region for its floating adventure course set in the middle of a large lake, its sensational activities such as the Water Jump, and much more!

A GREAT ADVENTURE COURSE ON THE WATER!

During your camping holiday in Les Landes, enjoy a fun and sporting experience with your family or friends. Come and test your balance and agility on a fun and crazy water adventure course. The whole course is full of floating obstacles, with inflatable structures, slides, trampolines, a ventrigliss, a zip line over the water, and even a human catapult to make new dives. In short, we challenge ourselves, we bounce, we slide, we fall a little (a lot), and above all, we laugh!

A GOOD DOSE OF ADRENALIN WITH THE WATER JUMP

A unique activity in the Basque Country! The most sporty can try water jumping, a discipline invented by skiers! The principle is simple: a lake, springboards, a buoy or a bodyboard to send yourself into the air before falling back into the water without risk. With speeds of up to 60 km/h, the most daring skiers perform spectacular aerial acrobatics before plunging into the lake. Thrills guaranteed!

BUT ALSO SWIMMING, BOAT RIDES AND PICNICS AROUND THE LAKE

At the Pop base, there is something for everyone, for sportsmen and women, but also for families with activities for the little ones. In addition to swimming, you can also enjoy a wide range of other activities.

You can rent a boat, a kayak or a giant paddle to navigate the lake with your family. All equipment is provided (helmet, life jacket) and a team of lifeguards is on hand.
The little ones who cannot yet swim are not forgotten. The park has sledging runs, a supervised swimming area with sand, swings, etc. Picnic areas around the lake or on the beach allow you to spend half a day or a whole day in the park. You can even fish (no-kill) if you have your fishing card!
