Is the vaccination pass compulsory for me to stay at Le Vieux Port campsite?
Following recent government announcements (subject to modification by the government), the VACCINAL PASS, like the HEALTH PASS, will not be in force on our campsite Le Vieux Port.

What is the maximum number of people that can stay in a Le Vieux Port accommodation?
Each accommodation at Le Vieux Port has different capacities. To be sure that the accommodation you choose corresponds to your wishes and needs, you will find the maximum number of people allowed for each accommodation on its detailed sheet. Please note that our holiday rentals can accommodate up to 10 people.
Is it possible to add a tent on the rental pitch?
We have included a special package if you wish to pitch a tent next to your mobile home. So at the 5 star campsite Le Vieux Port, you are free to add a tent on the pitch of your rental (except for rentals in the Premium Area and within the limit of the number of occupants allowed for the rental).
Are pets allowed?
For reasons of hygiene and out of respect for all travellers, the accommodation at our Le Vieux Port campsite unfortunately does not allow pets. Only our pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and vans are suitable for your pets.
Can I park on my rental pitch?
In addition to a large shaded parking area available for your arrival at the entrance of our campsite Le Vieux Port, it is of course possible to park your car during your stay directly on your pitch. To offer you optimal comfort and for the safety of our youngest guests, we allow and include the parking of only one vehicle on the plot of your rental. However, if the space of your pitch allows it, it is quite possible to park more than one car (with an extra charge) on your rental pitch, if the vehicles do not interfere with the main roads.
Is it possible to park a trailer or caravan on a rental pitch?
In order to facilitate the parking of your vehicles, as well as the circulation within our campsite, trailers are allowed on the plot of your rental, as long as they do not obstruct the public road. For a caravan on the other hand, our car park near the Reception is the most suitable place to park it without hindrance.
Is WiFi available on all pitches and in all rentals?
WiFi access is available on the entire Le Vieux Port campsite. Depending on your booking, this service can be included in your reservation. For any stay booked through our website: www.levieuxport.com or through our central booking office: www.resasol.com, a free WiFi connection is offered!

Do I have to bring my own sheets for a rental?
At Le Vieux Port campsite in Messanges in the Landes, we offer you a holiday without constraints. We have therefore created accommodation kits for you, to ensure your comfort and ease of logistics. A service that allows you to choose the options that suit you, from renting sheets, towels and even baby equipment.
Is there a water point on each pitch?
Water points are provided for tent, caravan, motorhome and van pitches. These water points are to be shared between several pitches.
Is there a kids' club at camping Le Vieux Port?

What is the aquatic area at camping Le Vieux Port like?
Our Pirate's Land water park has been completely redesigned to immerse you in the world of piracy! Our water park has been enlarged and is now composed of 5 temperate pools, 11 slides, a wave simulator: our Vieux Port Surfing Wave (unique in a 5 star campsite in France), an Aquasplash and 2 jacuzzis. Enough to have a great time during your holidays!
How to access the aquatic area of camping Le Vieux Port?
Only residents of our campsite Le Vieux Port are allowed to enter the Pirate's Land water park. Your wristband received at the reception when you arrive at the campsite will allow you to access our water park. Please note that access is controlled at the entrance gate of the water park.
Do I have to clean up before my departure?
At the end of your stay with us, we ask you to leave your holiday accommodation clean. You can either do this yourself. Or for those who want to relax until the last second, you can find all our cleaning packages. Something for all those who love to relax!
What are the free facilities on site?
Our 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite offers a whole range of leisure activities and almost infinite fun! You can enjoy our sports activities in our fitness area, our children's and teenagers' clubs, our playground, our concerts, shows, cabarets and themed evenings in our Arena, and of course our completely renovated water park with its 11 slides, 5 temperate pools, an Aquasplash and 2 Jacuzzis.
And for even more fun, we also offer a whole range of additional options: the only wave simulator in a 5* campsite in France, restaurants and bars on site, half-board, full-board, osteopathy practice directly on the campsite, carwash, laundry, surfing lessons, bike rental, etc...
Is there a shopping area near the campsite?
At the 5 star Le Vieux Port campsite, we have thought of everything to make your life easier during your holiday! For example, you can do your shopping directly on site. A market is held several times a week, directly in the village square of our campsite. You will also find a supermarket with a bread and pastry shop within our 5-star campsite. And to top it all off, we have worked out a system for delivering your shopping directly to your pitch!
Do you have any activities to discover around the campsite?
At the 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite, we want our guests to discover our magnificent Landes region. Our RESASOL agency will be able to advise you better than anyone else and book the best activities for you to immerse yourself in the Landes way of life, to immerse yourself in the traditions and favourite activities of the locals. And if you like to explore, we also suggest that you venture into the Basque Country, only 1 hour away from Le Vieux Port and Spain right next door.
Are swimming shorts allowed in the pool area?
Our Pirate's Land water park is a unique place to bring young and old together. So to make it easier to go down our slides, swim in our pools and relax in our jacuzzis, come and have fun in your swimming costume. Boxer shorts and swimming trunks are allowed, shorts are not.
Is the water park supervised?
For everyone's safety, our water park is supervised by our team of lifeguards, who have a state certificate. A secure area for safe swimming!
Is the water park open to people not staying at the campsite? Are there day passes for the water park?
For safety reasons, only residents of Le Vieux Port are allowed to enter the Pirate's Land water park. A control at the entrance of the park is carried out, thanks to the bracelets received for your stay, at the time of your installation on our pitches or in one of our mobile homes.
What types of catering are available on the campsite?
At the Le Vieux Port campsite, we are committed to meeting all expectations and tastes. So you can find a wide range of restaurants on site: brasserie, fast food, grill, bodega, wine bar, pizzeria... There is something for everyone!

There are tennis courts, a bowling alley, a city stadium for playing basketball or football, a beach volleyball court, a beach soccer court, a football field, badminton, table tennis tables and even a skate park. And for WOD enthusiasts, there is an open-air fitness and weight training area at our Le Vieux Port campsite. So there's no end to the fun!
Do you hire sports equipment?
To make your holiday easier, in July/August we rent tennis and table tennis rackets directly at the reception of our campsite Le Vieux Port.
Do you rent bicycles on site?
You can rent your bikes directly on site to get around without any hassle on the summer paths in the Landes. Our bike hire company is open 7 days a week, from April to September. You can find all the information concerning the schedules and the reservation directly on our website.
Which is the nearest beach?
The location of our campsite Le Vieux Port is idyllic. You have direct access to the south beach of Messanges. The supervised beaches of Vieux-Boucau are only 2 km south of our campsite. And for wave lovers, the famous surf spots of Hossegor are only 15 km away from our campsite Le Vieux Port.
How do I get to the campsite?
If you wish to enter the campsite with your vehicle, a system for reading your number plate is in place at the entrance, at the barriers. For pedestrian access, a wristband is given to you on your first day at Reception. It will allow you to pass all the controls without any shading.
How do I get to Le Vieux Port from the airport and the station?
It is possible to reach our campsite Le Vieux Port from: Biarritz airport is about 60 km away, Pau airport is about 100 km away or Bordeaux airport is about 150 km away.
If you wish to arrive by train, the nearest station is Dax at 35 km. The train stations of Bayonne and Biarritz are 43km and 54km away respectively.
How do I get to camping Le Vieux Port?
Whether you are coming from Biarritz, Pau or Bordeaux airport, it's easy to get to Le Vieux Port! Are there any transport services on site?
You will find all the facilities directly on site. However, if you want to get around our campsite Le Vieux Port, there are several options. You can use the YEGO bus network to travel along the beaches and the Landes coast. If you want to discover the land a little more, you can use the RDTL bus network. And if you prefer to take a taxi, there are several companies around the Le Vieux Port campsite.
Is there a charging point for my electric car at camping Le Vieux Port?
With more and more travellers using electric vehicles, our campsite Le Vieux Port has set up a charging point with two charging points for the batteries of your electric cars. A 5 star and green service!
What are the closing times of the gates at the campsite entrance?
In order to respect the rest of all travellers, the gates at the entrance of our campsite Le Vieux Port close at 11pm in the evening and reopen at 6am the next day.
Is it possible to leave the car in the campsite after check-out?
Once you have checked out of your holiday rental or pitch, we ask you not to park in the campsite. However, if you wish, you can leave your car parked in our outside car park.
What do I need to present on arrival / how do I check in?
When you arrive, please go to the Reception. Our team will welcome you for the formalities of your stay and will explain the organisation and activities of our campsite Le Vieux Port. You will also be asked to provide your full name, date of birth and vehicle registration number to complete your booking form.
What to do in case of late arrival?
For all those who have a long journey or who think they will arrive late on the first day, no need to worry! Our Reception is open until 7pm in low season and 8.30pm in high season. After that, our night team will be there to show you to your pitch or give you the keys to your accommodation. A visit to the Reception the next morning will allow you to finalise your file and to collect your bracelets, the key to your holiday.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
To welcome you in the best conditions, arrivals are possible from 4pm. On the last day, you will have until 10am to return the keys to your accommodation or leave your pitch. For standard and comfort pitches, arrivals and departures are by 12 noon.
Is it possible to do a Late Check-Out on the last day?
In order to allow a smooth rotation between your stay and that of the next holidaymakers, we do not allow late check-outs for either accommodation or pitches.

What is a tourist tax?
