Our family-friendly campsite in Messanges is the perfect base for visiting our region. Messanges is a seaside resort on the Atlantic coast, just an hour’s drive from Spain and 40 minutes from Bayonne, the Basque capital. Here, you’ll have all the local gems within your reach for a holiday filled with cultural and culinary discoveries! Ideally situated by the sea, Le Vieux Port is a family-friendly campsite with its own direct access to the beach. The ebb and flow of the ocean will guide your daily activities. You can wake your body gently with a yoga lesson on the beach, then take a surfing lesson later in the morning and get a feel for the power of the ocean. At lunchtime you can enjoy a picnic in the fresh sea air, then relax under your parasol in the afternoon... Before returning to the campsite at the end of the day to join one of the many activities on offer.

Le Vieux Port campsite has no shortage of ideas when it comes to activities and entertainment for the whole family. Why not start the day, for example, with a zumba or aquadance lesson, and end it with an entertaining evening in our auditorium, the Aréna. There’s something for every taste, from mini-discos to dance parties, drinks and games and even a cabaret show! With our free kids and teens clubs, your children are supervised by trained activity leaders and get the chance to try a whole array of activities adapted to their tastes, be they sporty, artistic, or just for fun! The water park in the middle of the campsite is an annual attraction where everyone enjoys the water features. Besides, the whole family gets to let off steam thanks to the campsite’s many sports facilities which include a sports field, basketball, beach volleyball, football and boules pitches as well as a skatepark and a fitness area.
