Urban boardsports fans don’t have to miss their fun on the tarmac during the holidays! We have just the thing for you! Within the campsite, next to the sports pitches, our skatepark invites you to try a few stunts. On the quarter-pipe, ramp, funbox and rail, you can practise your flips, figures and other techniques to perfection.
So grab your board, adjust your trucks, put on your protective gear and may the best stunt win!
And if you happen to like the idea of competing with the best local skateboarders, Vieux Boucau skatepark is just 800 metres away from the campsite.
So you can spend your holiday riding the streets!
And also 5 minutes away from the campsite: The Skatelandes school offers introductory or advanced courses at the Vieux-Boucau skatepark.
Julien, a state-qualified skateboarder, will supervise you in a good mood and in safety to share with you his passion for skateboarding.
All the equipment is provided for the practice (boards, helmets and protections)
The sessions take place in the morning or afternoon. These are 1h30 lessons, in groups of 8 students maximum for group lessons.
The instructors' teaching methods will allow the practice of the activity in safety.
Beginners will be able to discover the basics of skateboarding thanks to fun and progressive exercises that will allow them to become independent.
The more advanced skaters will have the opportunity to perfect their tricks and styles with precise technical advice.
The school is open from May to September.
