Things to know before your stay

For hygiene reasons, it is compulsory to wear a swimming costume. Even though our water park has a pirate and Caribbean theme, we are constantly fighting against the introduction of iodine and grains of sand that would try to infiltrate our pools.

In order for you to fully enjoy our aquatic area and to avoid any malfunctioning of our equipment, beach shorts are therefore prohibited in all our pools and slides. Only a tight-fitting lycra swimming costume is allowed. Now that you know what to wear, get ready to slide through the crystal blue waters of Pirate's Land!

At Le Vieux Port campsite we have the privilege of living in the middle of the Landes forest, and we celebrate it every day. Here we quickly understand that trees are alive. Our gigantic pines, which are omnipresent on our campsite, bring softness and freshness, but they also let pearls of resin slip through.

So, to prevent sap from dripping onto your vehicles, don't hesitate to protect them with cloths. So remember to pack a sheet or other suitable protection to protect your cars from the resin. The best way toappreciate the Landes is to know all its secrets, and this one is no longer a secret!

To take part in our many events and keep up to date with practical information, we've put it all together in one place: our RESASOL application! You can download it for both Android and Apple phones/tablets.

Book your tennis court, enrol your children in our mini-clubs or teenagers' club, find all the opening hours of our shops and boutiques, or choose the ideal time to try out our wave simulator. Everything is simpler thanks to our app and you will be able to organise your days in the blink of an eye at the 5-star Le Vieux Port campsite!

As soon as you arrive at Le Vieux Port, we mark your entry into the big family of our campsite by giving you a bracelet. This wristband becomes your key to our services andfacilities, such as our water park and children's clubs. Although these bracelets must be worn throughout your stay, all good things must come to an end.

Also, at the end of your holiday with us, the chip in your wristband must be returned when you leave. You can hand it in to one of our security guards or directly into the letterbox at our reception. Easy from start to finish!

On the first day, arrivals are possible from 4pm and your departure must be before 10am on the last day. However, to ensure that you can enjoy your holiday to the full, at Le Vieux Port we offer you the opportunity to use our water park from the moment you arrive and even after check-out*.

This is a great way to forget about the long journeys to our campsite, for both young and old. And above all, a great way to extend your holiday in the Landes until the last minute. So that you can spend your entire holiday literally with your feet in the water!

At Le Vieux Port campsite, we like to share with you our attachment to the nature that surrounds us. So to help you get away from it all, including at night, we have made sure that the sound of the waves will lull you to sleep rather than the noise of the engines.

It is therefore forbidden to drive through the alleys of our campsite after 11 pm. You are not allowed to enter our campsite after midnight either. The gates will be closed and it is therefore no longer possible to drive in or out after this time. Because in our opinion, respecting your nights a little more is also about living together better!

The Landes is a fabulous area. At Le Vieux Port campsite, we are lucky enough to be at the crossroads of the ocean, the forest, the Landes traditions and just a stone's throw from the Basque Country. In our opinion, the best way to discover this magnificent playground is to have fun.

We have therefore selected the best providers for you. There are more than 50 activities available for booking, directly from our reception. Kayaking, surfing lessons, accrobranche, boat trips to watch dolphins, canyoning, museum visits, yoga... Ask our hostesses to book your activity!

We have thought of everything to make your holiday a success. In addition to our wide range of activities offered through our privileged partners, we provide you with the best services directly on site. For example, there is a bicycle hire service at Le Vieux Port campsite.

And for the more organised, you can even reserve your bikes before your arrival. The countless cycle paths that border our campsite will hold no secrets for you, thanks to our map of the greenways that criss-cross the Landes forest and link the most beautiful seaside resorts of the South-West!
